From your client page in Swydo, open the Data Sources tab and click New Data Source, then choose TikTok Ads. For most platforms you’ll authorize via OAuth; a few (Klaviyo, CallRail, Call Tracking Metrics, ActiveCampaign) use an API key instead. Once authorized, pick the specific account, property, or page you want to report on. Each one becomes a data source you can drop into any report.
Yes. Every Swydo report supports widgets and KPIs from multiple data sources side by side, so a single report can pull from TikTok Ads, Google Ads, GA4, Meta, and more. For paid-media platforms you can also blend up to five sources inside a single widget — useful for cross-channel ROAS, total spend, or unified conversion tables. Custom blended widgets aren’t available for non-ad platforms, but reports themselves can mix anything.
Yes. Swydo connects via OAuth or scoped API keys, encrypts data in transit over HTTPS, and stores access tokens with role-based controls. Swydo is GDPR-compliant and acts as a data sub-processor under a standard DPA. You can revoke any connection at any time, and on account closure all data and credentials are deleted within 90 days. Smart+ campaigns surface as a dedicated campaign type in Swydo’s TikTok Ads data source, with full coverage of metrics TikTok exposes via API: impressions, clicks, conversions, cost, ROAS, and conversion value by event. Like Google’s PMax and Meta’s Advantage+, TikTok aggregates some Smart+ signals (creative-level breakdown is partial), so what you see in Swydo matches what TikTok exposes — not necessarily what their UI shows internally.
Yes. GMV Max campaigns and their associated metrics (Gross Merchandise Value, ROAS, conversion value, attributed orders) flow into Swydo through the TikTok Ads API. For TikTok Shop merchants specifically, GMV Max metrics can be blended with Shopify or GA4 ecommerce data to reconcile platform-attributed GMV against actual store revenue. Note: Swydo’s Shopify integration is in maintenance mode (no new connections since Aug 2025), so reconcile against GA4 or Klaviyo if you need both sides.
Yes. Filter TikTok Ads widgets by ad format to separate Spark Ads (boosted organic posts) from in-feed ads. Spark Ads typically show stronger engagement metrics (saves, shares, profile visits) because they originate from organic posts, while in-feed often wins on raw conversion volume. Build a side-by-side comparison widget to show clients which format earns the better cost-per-engagement vs cost-per-conversion trade-off for their goals.
Swydo’s TikTok Ads integration focuses on auction-bought campaigns. Reservation Ads (TopView, Brand Takeover, reach-and-frequency buys) aren’t currently supported in the TikTok integration — you’d need to add those numbers manually using a Manual KPI in Swydo, since TikTok doesn’t expose all reservation metrics through the same API as auction. For most agency clients running performance budgets, auction reporting covers everything.
Yes for creative-level: build an ad-level widget showing spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROAS per creative, useful for creative testing readouts. Hashtag-level data is limited — TikTok exposes engagement and reach for hashtags primarily through the organic API (the TikTok Organic integration in Swydo), so paid hashtag performance is rolled into ad-level metrics rather than broken out as a separate dimension.
Yes. TikTok Ads and TikTok Organic are separate connections, but they live in the same client and the same report. Add both as data sources and build a unified TikTok section: an Ads block showing spend, conversions, ROAS, plus an Organic block showing video views, follower growth, profile visits, and engagement rate.
